Android Device 2.0  ActiveSync Configuration on Exchange 2010:

Summary

This procedure will help guide you through configuring your Android Device with Exchange 2007 and 2010.

Configuration Steps


ActiveSync Configuration on Exchange 2010:


On the home screen go to the Applications tab - then click Email.

To add an account click Menu – Accounts – Add Account.

Click Exchange Server – ActiveSync

        Domain\Username: Input the default email address

        Password: Input exchange profile password

        Exchange Server: ex2010.myhostedservice.com

Make sure the “Use secure connection” (SSL) is checked.

Next – Click “Amount to synchronize” and set the amount you want.

Input the Account Name and Outgoing Message then click Done.


**Android Version 2.2 and up recommended**




Android Device 2.0 ActiveSync Configuration on Exchange 2007:


On the home screen go to the Applications tab - then click Email.

To add an account click Menu – Accounts – Add Account.

Click Exchange Server – ActiveSync

        Domain\Username: Input the default email address

        Password: Input exchange profile password

        Exchange Server: mail.myhostedsolution.com

Make sure the “Use secure connection” (SSL) is checked.

Next – Click “Amount to synchronize” and set the amount you want.

On the home screen go to the Applications tab - then click Work Email.

Input the username and password then click next:

        Email: Input the default email address

        Password: Input exchange profile password

Then input the server address, domain, and username

        Exchange Server: ex2010.myhostedservice.com

        Domain: Netplexity

        Domain\Username: Input the default email address

Make sure the “Use secure connection” (SSL) is checked then click finish setup

When the security warning appears click continue to complete the setup




Android Device 1.0 ActiveSync Configuration on Exchange 2007:


On the home screen go to the Applications tab - then click Work Email.

 Input the username and password then click next:

        Email: Input the default email address

        Password: Input exchange profile password

Then input the server address, domain, and username
