Solution How To Forward Email From Your Mailbox

Please Note, you can forward to another Mailbox, a Distribution List, or a Contact (external address).

The forwarding address (Mailbox, Distribution List, or Contact) must be configured before starting the next step

In your Control Panel
Click on the name of your Hosting Plan (typically Exchange Hosting, SharePoint Hosting, etc)
Click Hosted Organizations
Click your Domain Name
Click your Distribution Lists
Select the Mailbox that you wish to forward emails from
Click on the Mail Flow Settings Tab
Under Forwarding Addresses, check the ‘Enable Forwarding’ box
A new box will appear with a Book symbol to the right
Click the Book symbol to and select the Mailbox, Distribution List, or Contact that you wish to forward to
Click Save Changes

How To Forward Email To an External Recipient without having a Hosted Mailbox

Please Note, the forwarding address (Contact) must be configured before starting the next step

In your Control Panel
Click on the name of your Hosting Plan (typically Exchange Hosting, SharePoint Hosting, etc)
Click Hosted Organizations
Click your Domain Name
Click your Distribution Lists
Click Create Distribution List
Enter your Display Name for the new distribution list
Enter your Email Address for the new distribution list (this is the email address within your domain that you wish to forward to the external recipient)
Click Create Distribution List
Click on the Add button to add the Contact that contains the external email address
Click Save Changes
Go to the Mail Flow Settings Tab
Uncheck ‘Require that all Senders are Authenticated’
Click Save Changes
